This is a proposal to increase the weekly total staking reward to 250,000 Perp tokens.
Currently the weekly total staking reward is 150,000 Perp tokens. With the recent token price drop, the effective staking reward dropped with it. Increasing the reward to 250,000 would make up for the decrease in price.
This would increase the yearly staking emission from 7.8M to 13M Perp tokens, and would be a great incentive for staking until the switch to USDC staking rewards.
With currently 17M tokens staked, the APR is at 46%. Increasing the reward to 250k would lift the APR to 76%.
