This thread is to explore any ideas the community may support to prevent damage to Perpetual Protocol due to the loss of funds incurred by users in the V1 collapse.
Following the ideas mentioned in the v1-discussion channel on discord, here is one idea that tries to capture their points (and my own) while trying to maintain simplicity:
Pay 100% of all remaining V1 losses over 20 years.
Pay potentially all users.
However only pay users who sign a message stating they accept this and revoke their right to sue for losses.
Start payments 1 year from now.
Accept any message signed during this first 1 year period.
Is this idea palatable to the community?
Are there any other ideas that any community members would support?
